1. Prepare your cleaning solution: Mix a few drops of mild detergent with cool water in a basin or use a damp cloth with a small amount of detergent.
2. Spot clean: Use a soft cloth or soft-bristled brush dipped in the solution to gently dab and scrub the stained areas. Avoid rubbing too hard to prevent fabric damage or distortion of the hat's shape.
3. Rinse: Use a clean, damp cloth to wipe away any excess soap.
4. Air dry: Press excess water out with a towel and lay the cap flat to air dry.
